Maggie Simpson in “The Longest Daycare”

My daughter, set to turn two years old in April, has recently taken to butterflies. While wasting time on YouTube, I stumbled upon the following video. When my daughter was a wee smaller, I — like many dads who grew up watching The Simpsons — could not help but be reminded of Maggie Simpson when she would suck on her pacifier. It’s not 1989 anymore, and while I don’t claim to watch The Simpsons religiously every week — it’s probably been a good ten or more years since I’ve seen an episode — Maggie is still as cute as she has always been. Hard to believe she’s 24 years old. She hasn’t aged a bit. And now, an ode to Goodnight, Moon — Goodnight, Cocoon.
