Uncle Sam: The Remix

Right click. Save locally. Post on social media. Save it as your profile pic. Whatever. I would say post in your city or town, but you should keep your ass at home for a while and be a responsible citizen during this whole global health pandemic thing we’ve got going on.

LISTEN to health experts.

NOT the President who is worried about re-election and Wall Street and says something different each day. NOT Fox News. NOT your crazy aunt or uncle on Facebook who believe in the Deep State. NOT Alex Jones of InfoWars or random nobody conspiracy theorists on YouTube. Just the experts from the medical and science community the world over which include virologists, epidemiologists, etc. Not your friend. Not your spouse. Listen to science. Look at Italy. This isn’t something we can play make believe with or “business as usual” in hopes it will go away. A reminder: this shit has never happened in your life or mine.

Trump wants to send non-essential workers back to work despite global pandemic. Even Republican governors aren’t on board

The irresponsible rhetoric of Fox News regarding coronavirus (covid-19): from hoax to oh shit in less than a week

If he gets sick, or his family gets sick, they will get priority care. You would just be another person in a hospital, same as me. We’d just be another number or another casket.

I’m doing all of the recommendations by Jeff (you, my son) and Jennifer (my daughter, your sister)! Not listening to any junk on television that’s not factual. I can clearly see through and hear who would be benefiting and what is being addressed when I put a local station on. I won’t be attending any group until I know it’s safe…not when someone thinks or suggest it should be safe!

Good call. I’m not going to sit here and pretend I like Trump. I don’t. And I have a myriad of reasons why, even before all this. However, this is his golden opportunity to lead. And leading isn’t just two days out of the week while talking out the other side of your mouth the other five days. Saying we should “pack the churches” on Easter Sunday is irresponsible. It’s a deadly statement quite frankly.

We have to protect our own. Daddy isn’t alive. He hasn’t been for ten years. But if he was still alive and battling leukemia, it would be on us to make sure we were doing everything we could not to get him sick. Same goes for anyone else with that condition who is still alive. Same goes for kids and adults with asthma, diabetes, COPD, or any other condition which has compromised their immune system.

Be well friend. I fear the federal government has failed us in preparation for such an event. Our president seems more concerned about being reelected than doing what health experts around the world are recommending. One only has to look at Italy to see this can be very devastating. I fear what is to come for New York in the next 10 days. That will only be the beginning.

Same here dm. If you compare our numbers to Italy, we are actually accelerating the virus spread at a more rapid rate. I fear for devastation in New York. That’s just the tip of the iceberg in the U.S. Our federal government has a responsibility to protect its citizens. I mean, shit, pretend COVID-19 is a terrorist. Pull out the big guns. Mobilize. Have condom companies send their extra latex to glove manufacturers who have run out. Sounds like a silly idea, but that’s exactly what the Defense Production Act is meant to do. If we need to call in a place like Cuba who has more doctors than any country in the world per capita with extra hands, let’s do it. Whatever we have to do, we need to consider.
